Moments

I was lying in bed...awake...late...with heartburn...thinking about how this is not one of my favorite moments..painfully awake late at night with thoughts of being up in a short span of hours....but then i switched my thought process to my favorite moments instead....this is what I came up with....

- The moment right before a kiss...

- The smell of the ocean air awakening sences

- Waking up starving to the smell of breakfast...doesnt happen often enuf lol

- Writing a good song

- Hearing a good song while driving with the windows down

- Driving in zero traffic

- Getting an umbrella in my drink

- Laughing with friends and strangers...or myself....

- Night walks on the Oregon Beach with my family as a kid..

- The Blizzard Beach Water park at Disney World

- Watching people cry when I sing....I like to pull out the emotions in people ;) its good for the soul

- Fundraising

- The moment a big event I planned is over

- The moment I start planning a new event

- Creating new memories

- Missing someone.... it reminds me how to feel

- Getting REAL mail!

- Inspiring someone to do something new for themselves

- Learning a new chord

- Teaching someone something new

- Connecting with a person going through the same challanges

- Traveling

- Recording a new song

- Performing in a new city

- Being scared....and getting through it

- New lipgloss...and better yet new mascara....

- Hearing from an old friend

- Smiling at a stranger

- Live Music...Kings of Leon concert life time memory....

- Realizing something is over and that something new is about to happen

- Crawling into a cold hotel downfilled bed...ahhh

- Sleeping.....

On that note, I am going to go shut my eyes and drift off to dream about all these lovely things...

When you know you shouldn't be doing something, but yet you do it anyways... at the end of the day how does that make you feel? Being Caught in a Moment of feeling like nothing else matters but feeling good...not thinking of consequences or challenges that may arise from your actions is one of lifes mysteries to me. Its like we are constantly being challenged.. and tested....but at the end of the day...what matters? and what is the point of being tested?

If you ask me I have no idea.

Who sets the guidelines as to what is acceptable and what is wrong? is it yourself? are we all just living our lives with what we have each created to be acceptable.. do we set our own rules... and if we do why do people experience guilt over choices they have made? Perhaps it is because if we each have separate morals and ethics when they conflict we are put in a position of second guessing ourselves and doubt.

Testing...1...2...3.... why does it stop there? do we get 3 chances?...3 times a charm? who makes all this stuff up and why do we all go along with it.....the human brain is a strange thing we have so many ideas...but yet i bet only 10 percent of all the populations ideas come into play and become reality. So how do you become a part of that 10 percent...just do it...stop analyzing and thinking and observing...and just LIVE.....live through passion...live through feeling....live through ideas and see what happens....stop saying what if...or well i would IF...or i cant right now...as NIKE says...JUST DO IT. whatever IT may be.

I get side tracked so easily....but when I start something I always want to finish it.....I think thats why my blogs are so completely random lol.

Happy Easter...whatever Easter may mean to u.....this year to me its spending time with the family and friends....a glass of red wine......playing piano and writing music that can make you cry before it is even created....dont ask me how its possible... but it is... watching movies...and sleep......ohh sweeet dreamz....i love sleep ;)

Texting VS. Talking

I'm wondering....when did it become more of a priority to text someone then to call them?! Once upon a time it was a letter....then the phone....email....cell phones....now texting.....it seems to be so impersonal yet it is something we have all become accustomed to and to get a phone call from someone now seems to be shocking!!!!!

We can now develop a full on relationship with a person via texting.....you can say things in a text you could never imagine speaking....the world of communication opportunity magnifies when you dont have to look someone in the eyes or hear there response. It can also destroy relationships....misreading a phrase, not being able to fully express what you really mean to say...in a way emotion is kind of stripped from the conversation......its almost like...talk radio? lol

Sexting.....Would you rather a- call someone up and whisper dirty words...or would you rather b- type it out in a short message? Im going to say the majority of society would answer b....for fear of embarasment..or rejection...or convinience...or to be discreet...or for the excitment of the awaited response....I was reading somewhere people debating whether sexting was a social trend or a technological trend....at the end of the article they summed it up that it was a technological trend, and that those types of trends fade quickly as people move on to the next latest fad...trying to convince parents of teens not to worry about their naughty teens haha and that the "trend" should fade soon LOL.......sorry parents of sexting teens.......I dont think the "trend" of sexting is ending anytime soon........

Bizting....haha business texting....has that termed been coined yet?.....Well I say keep business to the words of talking....for there can be so many unnecessary misunderstandings or misreads when it comes to texting that when it comes to business...save it for face to face...or the phone....

thats just my opinion....kinda fits in with the whole dont mix business with pleasure.....but i think thats a whole new blog....stay tuned.....

Oh another DANGER with texting.......Make sure you are sending the message to the right person! Can you imagine sending your dad a text "I just had the hottest sex with my dads married friend Bob" EEK u cant really take that back.....

and another DANGER.....Dont Text and Drive...today Jarred( Boy....from www.boyandgurl.com) told me that talking on ur phone while driving x2 ur risks of being in an accident...and texting...x4 ur risks of being in an accident...now Im all about taking Risks...But not risks that are proven to kill. so be careful if not for you, at least those around you...but id hope its for u ;)

Haha wow Im sure I could continue on with this random blog as per usual but its late and I meant to go to bed a long time ago.....but when i got to bed i could hear my computer calling my name to open it up and start typing away in the dark.I have a hard time saying No...even to myself...which could possibly explain why I ate an excess amount of realfruit gummies tonight lol.....so this is the conclusion of that.

Before signing off...I will state...that I am a fan of Texting...especially bbm...its holding me back from getting an iphone...lol buttt I love getting a call....just like I love getting a handwritten letter......which seems to happen way to rarely....hint hint....

where did a chicken wing come from??

I was out eating wings and drinking strongbow tonight.......and the topic of what the wing was before it was fried came up...and someone brought up that it was a baby chicken.....wing down appitite gone...good thing strongbow is fizzy and filling.....so anyways i get home and google where chicken wings come from...bleh....not a hot topic...and not sure when the next time I will be able to indulge in 20 cent wing night...... heres what I came across

to start it off PG.....

Chicken wings are also called Buffalo wings...as they were originated in Buffalo NY...Oct,30 1964 at the Anchor Bar....this creation of Hot Wings dipped in blue cheese with a side of celery was an instant hit...serving 70 000 pounds of chicken per month wooozaa!!

and im stopping at PG before I find out any further info on the creation of a chicken wing.....being nausous over dead animals is not something im interested in fueling!!
